One of the best things about visiting Wichita is our central location, right in the middle of the Heartland. Wichita's Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is the largest airport in the state of Kansas and continues to grow and develop each year. With non-stop air service from nine U.S. cities with 36-40 daily flights and approximately 3,200 passenger seats arriving into the city daily, arriving is easy. Transportation around the city is easy, too. Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is located just 10 minutes from downtown Wichita. In 2015, a new airport terminal will open, increasing the flights in and out of the city.
