Go Wichita announces Saturday hours
(Wichita, Kan.) - Go Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau is expanding its Visitor Information Center hours to Saturdays. The center will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting May 26. The Visitor Information Center is regularly open Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The center is located in the Go Wichita office at 515 S. Main, Suite 115 in the WaterWalk district.
"With all of the summer events on the schedule, we want to give visitors all of the information they need to have a great time in Wichita," said Maureen Hofrenning, Go Wichita vice president. "We've been planning to offer Saturday hours for some time, and this weekend seemed like the perfect opportunity to start."
The Visitor Information Center offers visitors brochures about Wichita's attractions, hotels, shopping, entertainment and dining options. Visitors can also pick up a copy of the 2012 Official Visitors Guide. There are also Wichita-related souvenirs for sale.
