Go Wichita launches new advertising campaign


(Wichita, Kan.) - The Go Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau has launched a new advertising campaign urging meeting planners and potential visitors to "Take a closer look" at Wichita.

The "Take a closer look" campaign features a bold image focusing the reader's attention on the message that Wichita has attractions and experiences that make it a great travel destination. The campaign will utilize print ads, billboards and online advertising opportunities to increase the visibility of Wichita as a vacation destination and raise awareness of Wichita as a host city for meetings and conventions.

"Go Wichita continues to promote that Wichita has big-city amenities at Midwestern prices," said John Rolfe, Go Wichita president and CEO. "We're confident that once people know what we have to offer, they'll take a closer look at visiting our city."
