Go Wichita publishes 2012 Official Visitors Guide
(Wichita, Kan.) - The Go Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau's 2012 Official Wichita Visitors Guide is on its way to travelers looking for an affordable vacation or meeting destination.
Go Wichita will distribute 160,000 copies of the 56-page publication that has proved valuable to leisure travelers, convention delegates and meeting planners. The Visitors Guide contains information about Wichita's shopping, dining, museums, entertainment and cultural attractions. This year's guide features 10 highlighted experiences with QR codes leading them to additional online content. In addition, the new Visitors Guide features a map that illustrates Wichita Transit's expanded Q-line downtown trolley service and information on attractions and communities that make up the Casino Neighborhood surrounding the new Kansas Star Casino.
This year's guide also is available online for the 97 percent of travelers who prefer to do their research on a destination city via the Internet. The virtual guide allows page-by-page viewing of the printed publication's complete contents.
The print version is distributed through hotels and attractions in Kansas and Oklahoma in addition to visitor information centers operated by the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism. The publication also is provided via mail at no charge to potential visitors from around the world.
