(WICHITA, Kan.) - Keith Talbert Jr. has joined the Greater Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau as a destination sales manager. He is responsible for the SMERF market, which is made up of social, military, education, religious and fraternal groups. He also supports the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission with attracting sports events to Wichita. Talbert was previously an admissions representative for Wichita State University and assigned to recruit students from northeast Kansas, including the Kansas City area. He was born in Wichita and grew up in Independence, Kan.
