Visit Wichita is bringing together people who host meetings and conventions with all the resources they will need to keep that business local.  This Thursday, January 21, the bureau is hosting the Meet Wichita Expo from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Noah’s Event Venue, 1550 N Lindberg Circle, just east of the Waterfront in Wichita.

With hundreds of meetings and conventions hosted each year in Wichita, it makes sense that locals who are organizing their professional organization, trade association or fraternal event would host it right here in Kansas.

“We found that many locals host meetings but are unaware of all the services the bureau can provide them,” shared vice president of sales Maureen Hofrenning.  “We want to show Wichita individuals and businesses how easy it is to host a fantastic event right here at home.”

Great photo opportunities will be available as Wichita hotels, attractions and Visit Wichita staff will be on hand to explain why holding meetings at home in Wichita can be great for the organization and for our city.
