Riverfest Hotel Packages add value for festival attendees
(Wichita, Kan.) Go Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau and area hotels have put together Riverfest hotel packages in time for Wichita Riverfest 2010 visitors. This year the festival runs May 7-15.
Nothing celebrates Wichita quite like Riverfest, which is celebrating its 39th year this summer. Starting with the Sundown Parade May 7, the fun and festivities continue for nine days until the Capitol Federal Fireworks light up the sky on May 15.
Go Wichita is a proud sponsor of the festival, and wants to make the experiences of visitors as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. After visitors spend all day having fun at Riverfest, they are going to need a place to rest. To address that, Go Wichita and local hotels have assembled a selection of special hotel packages to ensure visitors have an enjoyable and economical stay in Wichita.
"Visitors will spend many hours at the festival having fun with friends and family throughout these nine days," said Maureen Hofrenning, Go Wichita vice president. "They'll definitely need some rest and relaxation after a full day of excitement, and with that in mind we've partnered with area hotels and created affordable hotel packages."
