This month, Visit Wichita will host three national soccer championships – the 2023 National Junior College Athletic Association’s (NJCAA) DI Men's & Women's Soccer Championships and the 2023 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men’s Soccer Championships.

Single session and all-session tickets for both championships are now on sale through VisitWichita.com/get-tickets. Admission prices for both events are $15 for a Day Pass (valid for one day) and $50 for an All-Session Pass (valid for entire tournament).

The joint 2023 NJCAA DI Men's & Women's Soccer Championships will be played, Nov. 12-18, at the SCHEELS Stryker Sports Complex. The championships are expected to bring hundreds of athletes to the region, resulting in approximately $700,000 in estimated local economic impact.

Visit Wichita hosted the division II men’s and women’s championships in 2021, opening the door to hosting NJCAA’s DI soccer championships.

Another sporting event that will kick off in November is the NAIA’s 2023 Men’s Soccer Championships. It will take place, Nov. 27-Dec. 4, at SCHEELS Stryker Sports Complex. It will bring hundreds of athletes, plus their family and friends, to Wichita. Visit Wichita estimates the Men’s Soccer Championships will result in approximately $300,000 in local economic impact each year.

Visit Wichita has hosted other NAIA events in recent years, such as the NAIA Men’s Wrestling National Championships in March of this year and will host it again in 2024 and 2025.
“We are honored and excited to welcome these national competitions to Wichita,” said Josh Howell, vice president of sports development at Visit Wichita. “Not only will each of the events bring a positive economic boost to the area, but they will offer fans in our region an amazing opportunity to witness top-notch play. We encourage everyone to get tickets and make plans to join us to cheer on these amazing athletes.”

Visit Wichita will host the three championships again in 2024. If you have questions about sports in Wichita or are looking for the perfect place to host your tournament or event, please reach out to our Sports Development Department.
