Sports planners love the amenities, affordability, central location and welcoming spirit of Wichita. As the largest city in Kansas, Wichita not only has a diverse set of world-class sports facilities and things to do, but also has the Visit Wichita sports team that works together to attract and host impactful sporting events in the city.

A new member, Kyle Baldwin, was recently added to the team as a sports sales manager. In his role, Baldwin will be responsible for developing relationships with local, regional and national sports stakeholders to attract sporting events and sports conventions and meetings to Wichita.

“My role is to create and foster relationships with sports rights holders from across the country as well as our partners here in Wichita,” says Kyle Baldwin Sports Sales Manager at Visit Wichita. “I am most looking forward to showing the world all that Wichita has to offer!”

Baldwin received his college education in Sport Management from Wichita State University. Prior to joining Visit Wichita, he was part of the operations team for Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. He also worked as the Operations Manager in Titletown, an events and entertainment district across the street from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

“We are thrilled to have Kyle join our Visit Wichita sports team,” said Susie Santo President & CEO of Visit Wichita “He’s a Wichita native and comes to us with a lot of experience in the industry and a love for Wichita sports.”

Baldwin added, “I am excited to finally have the opportunity to combine my love for Wichita with my passion and expertise in the sport industry. Not everyone gets to call sports their career. Most just get to call them hobbies on the weekends, but Visit Wichita has given me the opportunity to come to the office excited every day and know I am part of a unique and ever evolving sports tourism industry” Learn more about Visit Wichita’s sports team with this guide.
