"Wichita, Kansas is filled with family-friendly attractions and activities all families will love. Interestingly enough, this "big city" started as a trading post/meeting spot for Indians and other nomadic peoples before evolving into a destination for cattle drives in the 1870s. With the decline of the cattle industry, Wichita evolved into a major player in the grain and oil industries."
