Art

Appreciation for art is fostered on the last Friday of every month in a Final Friday celebration of creativity across Wichita, most vibrantly displayed in downtown Wichita. This art crawl is a unique opportunity for artists, local businesses and galleries to collaborate and offer an artistic experience for patrons in the heart of the city.

Galleries and businesses will stay open late (hours vary, but all participating locations will be open 7-9 p.m.) to allow patrons a special look at new exhibits, interactive displays or last-chance viewings. All galleries and exhibits are free to attend. Patrons can purchase art.

Restaurants

Final Friday is the perfect evening to explore downtown Wichita’s restaurant and brewery scene. While you’re walking block to block to enjoy the different art displays, stop into some of our partners for a bite to eat, including establishments like River City Brewing Co., Reverie Coffee Roasters – Café at the Kiva, Aero Plains Brewing, Central Standard Brewing, Third Place Brewing, Fredos, and Hopping Gnome Brewing Company, Meddy’s Old Town & Leslie Coffee Co.

Many restaurants and breweries will have Final Friday specials as well as new art on display each month. Some locations will also offer live music or entertainment. During the warmer months in Old Town Square, you can often catch fire breather performances with the group Phlox.
