Visit Wichita’s Wicked Brew Tour of 2022 has just come to a bittersweet close. This year participants in the tour stopped at newly opened, as well as Wichita favorite, coffee shops and breweries. The staff at Apollo Fermentations, a business participant of the tour, shared their excitement. “The Wicked Brew Tour is an excellent tool for reaching new customers. It is a creative and fun way for the people of Wichita to discover new businesses while stimulating our local economy.”
This annual tour is loved by many because of its great brews, lively atmosphere and friendly faces. “What’s not to love about enjoying coffee or a craft beer while supporting local? The tour concept is genius,” said Vanessa Whiteside, local content creator and author of “100 things to Do in Wichita Before You Die.”
The race began as participants turned in filled-out passports to win a 2022 Wicked Brew custom T-shirt designed by Wichita Screen Printing. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, nearly 1,500 shirts were given away! “The worry that I’m not going to earn my T-shirt before they run out is real. So far, so good for two years running,” Whiteside added.
