The beautiful new Mark Arts Mary R. Koch Arts Center in east Wichita is available for event rentals starting in January 2018. The prairie-style building was designed to feel like an art oasis in the city, and it offers a unique cultural experience as well as one-of-a-kind event space in Wichita.

As part of the $20 million Mark Arts project, the visual arts organization designed a Great Hall specifically to serve as an event venue. The Great Hall has 5,800 square feet and includes access to a catering kitchen, green room and cutting-edge technology. The hall’s capacity is 350 guests, but when it is rented with other spaces, Mark Arts can accommodate up to 600 guests.

In addition to large gatherings, Wichita’s new arts center can host a range of private events, including birthday parties, bridal showers, team-building events or employee and client appreciation events.

The center’s available spaces also include a 5,000-square-foot, 200-person capacity gallery; a 1,050-square-foot, 70-person capacity youth gallery; a state-of-the-art culinary teaching kitchen with the ability to accommodate intimate events for 12 or larger; and two 2,500-square-foot exterior terraces with access to the sculpture garden and stage area. Mark Arts has an open catering policy, and their event rentals manager will work with event planners every step of the way to ensure a smooth and superior experience for planners and guests.
