Ride the Q-Line around downtown Wichita, on Final Friday Art Crawl, to visit nearly 30 gallery showcases, many of which offer free hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The Keeper of the Plains is a 44-foot tall steel sculpture standing at the point where the Big and Little Arkansas rivers join together in downtown Wichita. This land between the two rivers is sacred ground to the Native American people and is also home to the All-American Indian Center. A complete renovation of the sculpture and installation of the Keeper of the Plains Plaza now brings people out each evening to see the Keeper and the "Ring of Fire" which can be viewed nightly at 9 PM for 15 minutes.

In May 2016, for just the second time, Bradley Fair will be re-transformed into Wichita’s premiere amphitheater. Opera on the Lake 2016, at Bradley Fair, will be a fully-staged production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance.
