Most of the events at Pumpkins at the Park are geared toward younger children. The entire Pumpkin Trail is full of activities they will love and older kids (and adult) will enjoy. We have two scarier activities for the older kids (and the brave) include the Cage Maze of Doom and the Zombie Task Force Tactical Laser Tag Experience. Why should kids get all the treats? In addition to all the activities for the kids, adults can enjoy Warlock Brews and Witch's Potions at two bars in the Park. No matter what age you are, be sure to check out the Pumpkin Trail, Ghoulish Games, Creepy Crawlers, Isle of Intrigue, Land O'Giants, Fire Performers, Creepy Crafts and the Haunted Hay Ride
Dr. Frank N. Stein's Lab
Our resident “Mad” scientist is constantly creating crazy and clever concoctions of chaos. This popular stage show entertains aspiring Einsteins with a mad scientist’s mysterious experiments and proven potions for fun.
Waterfall Light Show with Music
The state-of-the-art light show was created in 2013 and is the only show of its kind in the area. Last year, guests were entertained with more than six songs including Monster Mash, Thriller, and more!
The 3D haunted house was a huge hit last year. World renowned 3-D artist, Stuart Smith, has designed three
dimensional haunted houses around the world and for some of the largest haunts in the United States. This attraction is sure to blow the minds of adults and children alike as they learn this epic story.
Cage Maze of Doom
This steel cage maze isn’t for the faint of heart. It features some of the Park’s scariest creatures from which there is no escape. The cage maze adds some spice to the otherwise family-friendly event and is perfect for teens and adults. It was new in 2011 and has become one of the most popular attractions for our Halloween event.
Zombie Task Force: Sector 7
The Zombie Task Force is back and even better this year. The zombies have grown immune to our paintball guns so we have upgraded to TACTICAL LASER TAG guns! The zombies won't know what hit them. The best part is everyone can participate in this new experience! With a limited amount of ammo, life, and time, you and four others will go out with a squad leader and try to destroy the zombies that have infiltrated Sector 7. BEWARE: the zombies can damage you if they get too close. Tanganyika Wildlife Park is the only facility in Kansas with this new technology and guarantees it to be a unique experience!
Make a Monster Experience
This is the perfect experience for older kids or adults that love to scare people. You will have a professional make-up artist turn you into a zombie or monster. Then you will have the opportunity to "scare" people in the Cage Maze of Doom, Zombie Laser Tag experience, or the Hay Ride. The best part is you have a killer costume after for that Halloween party or gathering. Disclaimer: Guests will not be able to re-enter Pumpkins at the Park with their make-up on, so if you are doing both it would be better to schedule it toward the end of the evening.
