Wichita Figure Skating Club and Visit Wichita are proud to host the 2022 National Theatre on Ice Competition through US Figure Skating.
Theatre on Ice is a form of competitive figure skating that combines the grace of figure skating with the impactfulness of theater and dance. Teams are made up of between eight and 24 skaters and are judged by US Figure Skating judges on technical merit and presentation, with an emphasis on originality, costuming, artistry and musicality.
This is the first time Wichita has hosted the event, but has previously hosted the 2018 and 2020 Midwestern and Pacific Coast Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships.
