The Wichita Parks & Recreation Department will be joining P.J. Day and his burro, Pero, as he reads his book, "A Burro's Tale," at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at the Keeper of the Plains.
P.J. and Pedro are embarking on a 10-state tour to spread holiday cheer, and Wichita is one of the stops. Join us as P.J. reads the story of Pedro, a young burro, coming of age during the first Christmas. All ages are necouraged to attend this free story time and meet the real life Pedro. The first 50 children in attendance will receive a complimentary copy of "A Burro's Tale."
Story time will be held at the Keeper of the Plains, weather permitting. If inclement weather, the event will be held inside Mid-America All-Indian Center.
