The Friends of the Wichita Art Museum again offer their popular program combining luncheon and lectures on Monday.
In 2006, Fidelity Bank CEO Clark Bastian had a problem. He needed more office space and thought he found the solution: Re-purpose Wichita’s Carnegie Library Building. Hear the story of how Clark dealt with city officials, architects, artisans, even the Department of the Interior, and discovered his inner passion for Wichita history, arts, and culture. His enthusiasm for the project would have made WAM founder Mrs. Louise Caldwell Murdock smile.
