Join JoAnne Northrup, curatorial director and curator of contemporary art at the Nevada Museum of Art, for an illustrated talk on her exhibition Unsettled.
Unsettled explores the connections between the diverse cultures and artistic practices of the Greater West, from Alaska down the west coast of North America into Central America. The exhibition also includes artistic investigations of the new frontiers of outer space and high technology.
Northrup will discuss works that span 2,000 years, ranging from Pre-Columbian to modern and contemporary art, all of which explore life in the ever-changing West.
