The annual Living Nativity at East Heights with youth actors and live animals is a treat for all!
Performances are at 6, 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. in front of the church, weather permitting. In case of bad weather, performances will be in the entry space (narthex) of the sanctuary.
Be sure to come inside the church and enjoy free refreshments in the coffeehouse and an interactive display created by artist Paula Plott Amos. The “Angels Among Us” display features a book of angels and other original figures and artwork of angels by Paula as well as fun and creative angel-related activities for adults and children of all ages. The display is in the East Transept Dec. 3-31 and will be open whenever the church building is open.
Each year since 2004, East Heights has partnered with the College Hill Neighborhood Association’s Holiday Lights Trolley Tour to connect with the community. The trolley loads and departs at East Heights. Trolley tour prices are $8 per adult and free for children younger than 3 years old. Trolley tickets will be sold Dec. 4-8 at Traditions, 3220 E. Douglas. Any remaining tickets will be sold Dec. 10 at East Heights.
