'Faces of Latin America'
Wichita-based engineer, singer and painter Paula Andrea brings ‘Faces of Latin America’, a series of portraits depicting various ethnic groups from Latin America. Originally from New York City and the daughter of Colombian immigrants, cultural diversity and pride in one’s heritage have always played important roles in shaping her life experiences and have become key elements in her art. From familiar faces like Frida Kahlo to lesser known Colombian communities like the Wayuu indigenous people, the collection celebrates the richness of Latin American heritage.
