Enjoy everything there is to love about fall while strolling through our gardens for four fun-filled nights. Throughout the gardens, we will have more than 1,000 uniquely carved pumpkins lit up for everyone to see, which have been carved by volunteer groups and individuals in the Wichita community. We will also have some pumpkin sculptures on display, fire pits for s’mores and our first ever Haunted Woodland Walk. The Haunted Woodland Walk will feature actors and displays by Plant Kingdom and the operators of OJ Watson’s Wicked Island. They are transforming our Woodlands into a family-friendly haunted walk with actors so enter at your own risk. You will encounter some spooky scenes like an airplane crash, living plants, troll bridge, puppet shack, model A truck scene, cemetery, walk through a scary school bus and more. We will have live music on the terrace patio, local craft beer from some of your favorite breweries, food for purchase from local restaurants and food trucks. Also, don’t miss out on our outdoor spooky movie that will be projected on a 16 foot wide and 14 feet tall screen presented by Install Connection. This is a perfect event for all ages. The first 1,000 guests will receive free ice cream from Mel Hambleton Ford.
