Senseney Music joins the Make Music Day celebration with a variety of free “Hands On” Make Music activities such as Guitar, Fiddle, and Ukulele Circles, Kindermusik Demo Classes, Instrument Petting Zoo, Make Your Own Instrument, Trap Off and a Guitar Jam all on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Senseney Music, 2300 E. Lincoln in Wichita. In addition, a special evening concert “Sousapalooza” will take place at Old Town Plaza at 7pm, featuring a “come-one, come-all” concert band performing John Philip Sousa marches for the public’s enjoyment.
Make Music Day is an event where free, live musical performances, opportunities to make music and other musical events take place around the world on the longest day of the year. Musical festivities in Wichita are part of a global celebration of music making in over 750 cities inspired by France’s Fête de la Musique.
