I picked up painting as a therapeutic outlet to deal with stress. Ever since then I have been conceptualizing new work in my head and have been experimenting with new techniques. I prefer abstractions since they can be something different for everyone.
By calling my early series of work “Mania,” I express the random thoughts that circulated my mind constantly, and by combining polychromatic color schemes with deep textures and multiple mediums I provide a glimpse of what my headspace is like. From there I took my hand to acrylic pours where I discovered a satisfaction in manually manipulating the pour in a forcible manner. Since then I have been on an analytical hunt for new styles and ways to put forth my mentality on canvas. All my work is a creative search for the internal balance we all desire. I hope you enjoy what I have created thus far.
