    Join the Friends of the Wichita Art Museum for the Spring 2018 Howard E. Wooden Lecture with Kimberly A. Jones, curator of 19th-Century French Art at the National Gallery of Art. Jones will offer an illustrated talk placing artist Mary Cassatt among the French impressionists. Presenting a survey of the artist’s distinguished career, she will discuss how Cassatt lived her adult life as an American in Paris.
    The lecture is free and open to the public. Galleries will be open prior to the lecture. Exhibition and museum admission is free to WAM members. Exhibition and museum admission is $17 for adults; $15 for seniors. Doors open at 6 pm with cash bar, festive mingling in the S. Jim and Darla Farha Great Hall, and exhibition viewing; lecture starts at 6:45 in the Howard E. Wooden Lecture Hall.
