Naftzger Park & Evergy Pavilion Grand Opening

Due to ongoing concerns around a potential outbreak of COVID-19, otherwise known as the Coronavirus, the City has made the determination to postpone the Naftzger Park and Evergy Pavilion Grand Opening Celebration planned for tonight. - City of Wichita on Facebook

Join us for the Grand Opening of Naftzger Park and the Evergy Pavilion featuring MC Brett Harris, local favorite Annie Up Band, local food trucks and more! Evergy will be handing out swag and (weather permitting) we'll end the evening with fireworks. Guest speakers include Mayor Whipple, Council Member Johnson, representatives from Evergy, TGC Development Group and Downtown Wichita. Plus, come bid on silent auction items benefiting the Wichita Parks Foundation.
