What do health, parking, transportation, and economic development have in common? When it comes to planning a city for the future, quite a lot. Health ICT, in collaboration with the Health and Wellness Coalition of Wichita, Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WAMPO), and Downtown Wichita, is sponsoring award-winning and internationally recognized transportation expert Jeff Tumlin in a community event to break down how parking affects cities across the world. As part of the next talk in the Health ICT speaker series, Tumlin will offer his creative and entertaining insights on how parking can help communities like Wichita reach their full potential as economically successful, environmentally sound, and enjoyable places to live, work, and play.
