Stewart Goodyear Piano Recital

From: 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM, October 6, 2024 | Wichita Symphony Orchestra

Combine a superb Steinway Concert Grand, a world-class concert pianist, and an intimate performance space with the audience gathered around the piano onstage, and you get a recital featuring pianist Stewart Goodyear.

Pianist Stewart Goodyear returns to the Century II Concert Hall Stage in Wichita for a solo recital. His program includes a Partita by Johann Sebastian Bach, Beethoven’s familiar Moonlight Sonata, Chopin’s popular Third Ballade, and Prokofiev’s thrilling Seventh Sonata. A composer in his own right, Goodyear also performs his Rhapsody.

All tickets include a post-concert reception in the Concert Hall Lobby following the performance.

Stewart Goodyear was on hand for the Symphony’s piano selection at the Steinway factory on Long Island in New York City to advise Music Director Daniel Hege on the best piano for our large Concert Hall.
