Symphony in the Gardens

6:30pm, May 14, 2021 | Botanica Wichita

Botanica and the Wichita Symphony Orchestra (WSO) are pleased to announce "Symphony in the Gardens," an outdoor, socially distanced concert experience to debut Wichita’s newest amphitheater.

"Symphony in the Gardens" will offer a progressive style concert experience with small groups of WSO musicians playing throughout Botanica’s various gardens. The evening will end with a bang as everyone gathers on the Grand Lawn for a performance featuring the Wichita Symphony’s Brass and Percussion musicians conducted by Music Director Daniel Hege, complete with fireworks as the finale of the evening.

Tickets
$35 "Seed" tickets: Provide access to the gardens, cash bars, dessert trucks and general lawn seating.
$75 "Blossom" tickets: Come with a boxed picnic dinner, two drink tickets and access to chairs for the Grand Lawn concert.
$150 VIP "Bloom" tickets (limited quantity): Come with early access to the gardens, open bars, a pre-concert patio hour featuring cheese from Elderslie Farm and wine from Jenny Dawn Cellars, and a delicious dinner and dessert served on site by Georges French Bistro, including terrace seating with tables.

The Grand Lawn can safely host 1,000 socially distanced people. Pandemic protocols, such as mask wearing (exceptions made while consuming food and beverages) and social distancing, will be observed. “Seed” ticket attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets for the final performance. A rain date of May 21 has been set should inclement weather arise.
