The Wichita Griots are "Building A Better World" with a special presentation at the Library. With music, song, drums, and stories, this troupe of storytellers will inspire, entertain and educate. Led by former Wichita Public librarian Jean Pouncil-Burton, the tellers are committed to keeping the oral tradition alive. Their repertoire includes African-American folktales, drumming, and stories with messages that empower and enlighten young people to be their best and aspire to their highest potential. For ages 3-11.
