WAM and Tallgrass Film Association celebrate five years together with this annual, outdoor live music and film night. Beware the danger of spying on your neighbors in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1954 masterpiece Rear Window, featuring the gallant James Stewart and beauty Grace Kelly. This thriller takes place in the heat of summer in a Greenwich Village apartment complex. During a powerful heat wave, the mystery ensues with neighbors and a dose of voyeurism. The film is considered to be one of Hitchcock’s best and is included in the American Film Institute list of 100 Years—100 Movies, a reflection of the very best American films. Bring your camp chairs, picnic blankets, and Frisbees as we frolic during one of Kansas’ sultry, summer evenings. Food trucks, cash bar, and more. Free admission. Doors open at 6:30 pm; Live jazz with the William Flynn Quartet at 7 pm; screening of "Rear Window" at 9 pm.
