Watermark Hosts Nghiem Tran

Watermark is very happy to host local Kansas author and longtime friend of the store Nghiem Tran! We are hosting Nghiem for his debut book We're Safe When We're Alone which focuses on a spirit named Son and his journey to leave his home when his father decides it is time for him to venture outside. Son must overcome his fears and explore the unknown. Nghiem was born in Vietnam and raised in Kansas. He received his BA from Vassar College and his MFA from Syracuse University. He would routinely come to Watermark to write his book and now that it is finished we are ecstatic to hold an event for his book. He will be at Watermark on Sunday, September 24th at 1 p.m. He will be here to talk about his book, do a Q&A with the audience, and do a book signing.
