On December 16 th of this year, a coordinated wreath-laying ceremony will happen at Arlington National
Cemetery, and in over 1,200 locations, in all 50 states, and all around the world. The goal of these
ceremonies is to REMEMBER our fallen U.S. veterans, HONOR those who serve, and TEACH children the value of freedom.
The Mary Draper Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution has chosen to bring this
ceremony to Wichita, by selecting Calvary Cemetery to participate in this event. This will be the only cemetery in Wichita to host this event. Calvary Cemetery has 700 veteran graves, and we will cover each one with a wreath.
