    The National Baseball Congress World Series has been the Summer Collegiate National Championship since 1935. Held in early August the event features Baseball 'Round the Clock and will host 32 teams, 63 games at Lawrence Dumont Stadium on the banks of the Arkansas River. Past alumni include Albert Pujols, Tim Lincecum, Mark McGwire, Ozzie Smith, and Satchel Paige.
