Orchard Park

Orchard Park is located off 9th street in Northwest Wichita and was established in 1955. The most unique feature of this park is the baseball diamond called Miracle Field for the disabled. It is a first of its kind in Kansas and available to rent. Come indulge in the newly renovated pool that features a wading pool, climbing wall, water slide, basketball goal, two shade shelters and vending machines. The cost is $2 for children (17 and under) and $3 for adults. There is also an $8 family rate (6 people - one adult required). With a recreation center available for rent, Orchard Park has many features such as kids playground with rubber safety surface, restrooms one basketball/multi-use court (no lighting), one soccer field (available for rent), one tennis court with lighting. The park features a skatepark for beginners. The skatepark is 40' x 66' includes an 18" 3-sided corner pyramid, a 2'x2'x6' ollie box, a 12"x24" arch rail slide, a 2'x8' quarter pipe and a 2'x8' spine ramp. There are three paved parking lots. The locations are East (62 stalls); West (64 stalls); Swimming Pool (54 stalls)
