Wichita Sky Kings
Catch the debut season of the Wichita Sky Kings professional basketball team tipping off in March 2023. Home games are played at Charles Koch Arena on the Wichita State campus and the regular season runs through June. The team plays in the Central division of The Basketball League, which launched in 2018 and is made up of 40+ North American teams comprised mostly of former collegiate players along with former NBA and international players. The Central Conference — with teams from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana — has won the past two league championships.
The Wichita Sky Kings offer affordable, action-packed fun. Season tickets start at $99 and single game tickets are as low as $29. Kids under 10 are admitted free to all games with a paid adult. The team has 13 home games on its inaugural schedule and among its roster is Teddy “Buckets” Allen, who as a guard for New Mexico State University was named 2022’s Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Sky Kings’ games also will feature off-court entertainment ranging from live music to celebrity meet and greets such as actor Brian Baumgartner, better known as Kevin from “The Office.” Watch the team’s social media channels for promotions and special events.
