Crown Uptown Theatre

Visit the historic Crown Uptown Theatre for theatricals, dance, concerts, weddings, receptions and banquets. Designed by the Boller Brothers and built by George Siedhoff, the Uptown Theatre opened on July 16, 1928 and operated as a first run movie venue with Al Jolson in The Jazz Singer.

It went through a remodel and conversion to Cinerama in 1961, and again in 1976 to convert it to a dinner theatre presenting Broadway style shows. The theatre was sold in 2017 and once again remodeled and fitted with state-of-the-art sound and lights.
