Asian Festival: Wichita’s annual Asian Festival shows the community the rich culture, traditional outfits, performances and food representative of a variety of Asian countries.
Automobilia Car Show & Street Party: The Automobilia Car Show & Street Party brings hundreds of classic cars, mods, motorcycles and more to the closed off streets of downtown Wichita every summer.
Autumn and Art: Each September, Autumn & Art treats the senses with world-class art, demonstrations, activities, food and music at Bradley Fair, one of Kansas' best outdoor shopping venues.
Illuminations at Botanica Wichita: With more than 1 million lights, this holiday tradition brings the beauty of Christmas to Botanica Wichita. Take the family on a walk through the 30 themed gardens magically lit with colorful lights, some set to music. Let the kids sit on Santa’s lap and sip hot cocoa as you explore new designs and old favorites.
Midwest Beerfest: This festival features more than 350 handcrafted, imported and domestic brews, making it the largest beer event in Wichita. Nothing goes better with beer than wings, so take advantage of the opportunity to taste and vote on wings provided by some of Wichita’s favorite restaurants.
Great Plains Renaissance Festival: Sword will meet shield as knights battle for the honor of their fair lady, the royal falconer shall fly birds of prey, see slight of hand and feats of daring. Come one, come all!
Tallgrass Film Festival: Showcasing independent films and up-and-coming filmmakers, this five-day independent film festival allows the public to interact with writers, directors, filmmakers and performers. Wagonmaster's Chili Cookoff: The Wichita Wagonmaster's Downtown Chili Cookoff brings teams of chili makers to the streets of downtown Wichita, where they compete for the title of best chili in the city while you taste their entries.
Wichita Jazz Festival: Celebrate the rich tradition of vocal jazz music at the Wichita Jazz Festival, Wichita's annual tribute to one of the longest running and most popular types of music. Hear local and regional acts perform jazz standards and original music.
Wichita Riverfest: Get ready for nine days of fun along the river! As the largest festival in Kansas, Riverfest brings multiple stages of live music, energetic activities like zip lines, helicopter rides, eating contests and river exploration and the ever-popular food court. Riverfest is a can't-miss event in Wichita and one of the most affordable, family friendly activities in the Midwest.
Wingapalooza: Enjoy all-you-can-eat wings and beer as INTRUST Bank Arena fills with delicious samples from local, regional and national restaurants. Sample different styles of wings from more than 20 restaurants and local chefs and wash them all down with beer and drinks from local breweries.
