Pay your respects at Piatt Memorial Park, a somber tribute to the 30 lives lost in 1965 when a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker tragically crashed into a residential neighborhood on the city’s north side. Honor our nation’s heroes at Veterans Memorial Park, located along the scenic Arkansas River and featuring 18 memorials dedicated to veterans of World War II, the Vietnam War, the Korean War and more.
