Tallgrass Film Festival
It’s the biggest film festival in Kansas, bringing together writers, directors, filmmakers, actors and engaged audiences while showcasing the best local, regional, national and international independent films.
Tallgrass Film Festival made MovieMaker magazine’s list of “25 Coolest Film Festivals of 2023” as well as the list of “50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee” for the ninth year.
The festival shows four days of feature and short films at centralized venues in Wichita. Several past screened films have been nominated for or received Sundance or Independent Spirit Awards, and several films featured at the Tallgrass Film Festival have gone on to contend for Oscars.
2024 Event
The 22nd annual Tallgrass Film Festival will take place October 24-27.
