WICHITA, Kan.— Visit Wichita has hired Rus Anderson to lead its digital efforts as web director. He will take the lead on the redesign of visitwichita.com and will also oversee the day-to-day updates and monitor usage by our partners and visitors.

“There is a lot of excitement in Wichita about all of the wonderful things the city has to offer,” said Anderson. “I hope to be able to reflect that energy and liveliness through visitwichita.com, so that anyone interested in visiting Wichita can see just how diverse the options are for dining, recreation, events and everything in between.”

Anderson studied Graphic Design at WSU and has 20 years of experience designing, developing and managing websites and applications for small companies and Fortune rated companies, alike. Prior to joining Visit Wichita, Anderson was the Sr. UI/UX Designer & Developer at Silpada. He helped redesign and develop the user interface and user experience for their website and eCommerce platform.
