2010 Historic Wichita Trolley Tour schedule announced

(Wichita, Kan) The Historic Wichita Trolley Tour will start its 2010 season March 19 with a Friday-Saturday schedule. The 1/2-hour narrative tour starts and ends at the Go Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau's Visitor Information Center, 515 S. Main, Suite 115.

River City Trolley and Charter operates the fully narrated tour utilizing a replica 1925 trolley mini-bus, The tour travels past well-known and not-so-well-known historical sites and through the city's most distinguished neighborhoods.

A childhood memory prompted Homer Price, owner of River City Trolley and Charter, to start his business and create the historic tour. Price spent his career driving trucks and city buses.

"I remember seeing a trolley as a child, and] always wanted to ride on one," Price said, "I think that deep down, everyone wants to ride a trolley, The tour lets people fulfill that wish and learn about Wichita's past at the same time."
