2. Café Bel Ami

Enjoy this fine dining restaurant’s upscale atmosphere and order one of their specialty sandwiches – Turkey Caesar, Reuben and California Veggie Burger, to name a few. They come with your choice of soup or pasta and will keep you under $10.

3. Deano’s Grill & Tapworks

Try the Los Cabos Chicken Tacos, two for $7.50 or three for $8.55. They come with shoestring onions. For a really cheap meal, go on Taco Tuesday when you can order two for $7 and get your choice of fish, shrimp, steak or chicken.

4. Delano Barbeque Company

Get a one- or two-meat sandwich with a side and a drink for under $10. You’ll also find some great barbecue lunch specials at the many locations of Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q & Catering andTwo Brothers BBQ or downtown’s Bite Me BBQ.

5. Emerson Biggins Old Town

Watch a game while you enjoy an affordable lunch at this Old Town sports bar and grill. You can score sandwiches, tacos and pizzas within a $10 budget. There’s also half-price burgers on Tuesdays.

6. Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

We’re proud to say Wichita is the hometown of Freddy’s and you can stop in at any of the seven area locations for a cooked-to-order burger, shoestring fries and freshly churned frozen custard. Don’t miss the fry sauce!

7. Fredo’s

This new tapas-style restaurant and lounge in Old Town also offers a lunch menu featuring flatbreads or sliders & fries for under $10. If you’re going light, try the dip plate that comes with pita, vegetables and your choice of hummus, Mediterranean chicken salad or eggplant salad for $8.

8. Playa Azul

High on the list of cheap places to eat in Wichita is this Old Town restaurant. You can’t beat the $4.75 Speedy Gonzalez lunch combo: one taco, one enchilada and your choice of rice or beans. There are plenty more options on the Express Lunch menu, with the most expensive being the $7.49 chicken or steak fajitas. 9. The Flying Stove

The menu is always changing at this food truck that has been serving gourmet street cuisine in Wichita, KS since 2011. A recent menu had a Marinated Kale & Avocado Sandwich for $8 and a Chicken Doobie Taco for $4 each.

10. Ziggy’s Pizza - Clifton Square and Ziggy's Pizza - Northeast

If you want quality for an amazing price, you can’t go wrong with the weekday lunch special at this hometown pizza place. Get two slices (of the same pizza) and a side salad for $6.99. Your slices can be one of their specialty pizzas or you can build your own.
