Baseball in Wichita is in full swing this August with the 89th edition of the National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series at Wichita State University and Wichita Wind Surge Double-A baseball team playing three six-game series’ at downtown’s Riverfront Stadium.

There are plenty of ways to cool off indoors, from summer tour stops by country superstars Thomas Rhett and Zach Bryan at INTRUST Bank Arena to theater performances to exhibitions at Wichita’s affordable and diverse collection of museums.
