Enjoy fresh and local dining in the heart of Old Town. Adjacent to Brickyard, Old Town’s premier outdoor music venue, Public first opened our doors in 2012 for dinner service with the goal of serving fresh and regionally sustainable ingredients to create our take on the flavors of local cuisine. We achieved this by partnering with various local vendors and designing an eclectic menu transcending the old and the new. From our nationally recognized food to our laid-back atmosphere, there is something for everyone at Public!

Cozy up to the bar for craft cocktails, the best in local & regional beers and of course, enjoy our food menu.
Try our Public Smash Burger or Chef's Smash Burger. Buns baked fresh in house.
Our eclectic dining room offers cozy seating for small groups or space for large groups. Just call us or go online to make a reservation!
From pizzas to sandwiches to fish specials, we've got something for everyone.
Join us for Happy Hour on Weekdays from open to 6 pm and enjoy specials on beer, cocktails and wine.
Our patio is connected to the Brickyard-- an outdoor live music venue.
