Visit Wichita has added Lyndsey Overman to its sales team as convention sales coordinator.

In her role, Overman will provide support to the convention sales and services team to promote Wichita as a destination for meetings and conventions. She will also provide assistance to recurring groups and meeting planners by helping them utilize the resources made available to them by Visit Wichita.

“I am excited to assist the team in showcasing all of the unique and inviting aspects Wichita has to offer meeting planners and visitors,” said Overman. “I am incredibly proud to join such a strong and talented team of professionals.”

Prior to Visit Wichita, Overman held various sales roles, including marketing and business coordinator at Piping & Equipment Company, Inc. and engagement center representative at Celebrity Cruises. She received a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.
