TBEX Summit America 2025, which was hosted in Wichita in October 2025, is the world’s largest gathering for travel bloggers, content creators and tourism professionals. The summit has already generated significant visibility and reach for Wichita and Kansas, according to early results from the event. Visit Wichita, in partnership with Kansas Tourism, welcomed approximately 200 attendees in October, including travel creators and industry professionals. This marked the first-ever city and state collaboration in TBEX history.
Early Results Demonstrate Major Impact (10 weeks post summit)
- Almost 2,000 social media posts shared by travel creators highlighting authentic Wichita experiences
- 10+ million impressions across social channels, reaching audiences around the world

TBEX attendees experienced Wichita through 12 unique Pre-BEX tours, memorable VIP receptions, and interactive experiences made possible with support from more than 160 local businesses and community partners. Beyond Wichita, the Kansas Tourism team guided creators on curated tours across the state, offering an authentic look at Kansas’ arts, culture, history, and one-of-a-kind destinations.
“Hosting TBEX alongside Visit Wichita allowed creators to experience Kansas in the best possible way, through the people, places, and stories that define who we are,” said Bridgette Jobe, director of Kansas Tourism. “Their enthusiasm has already amplified Kansas on a global stage, and we’re thrilled to see travelers discovering the beauty and character of our communities. This collaboration has created a ripple effect that will benefit Kansas for years to come.”
The impact of TBEX Summit America 2025 extends beyond the event itself. The relationships forged between content creators, local businesses, and tourism partners are expected to drive continued storytelling, collaboration, and visitation for years to come. Wichita and Kansas now have a growing network of brand ambassadors who will continue sharing the region’s unique experiences, from its cultural landmarks and culinary offerings to its arts, entertainment, and natural attractions. The event has not only elevated the region’s profile globally but also positioned Wichita and Kansas as must-visit destinations for travelers seeking authentic, engaging experiences.
