The Babe Ruth League (BRL) announced today that it has selected Wichita, Kansas, as the host city for the 2025 Midwest Plains Regional Tournament. This annual event will be held July 23-27, 2025, at the Genesis Sports Complex, just west of Wichita in Goddard and will feature teams across age divisions 8U to 16U.

“We are thrilled to bring the Midwest Plains Regional Tournament to Wichita in 2025,” said Tim Kuntz, Midwest Plains Regional commissioner of the Babe Ruth League. “The top-notch facilities, welcoming spirit and array of attractions make it the perfect location for our tournament. We look forward to an exciting week of baseball and community engagement.”

The Midwest Plains region consists of: Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and two provinces of Canada, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

This tournament marks the first time the Babe Ruth League will host a large format tournament in Wichita and in the state of Kansas. “Hosting the Babe Ruth League’s Midwest Plains Regional Tournament is a significant honor for Wichita,” said Josh Howell, vice president of sports development at Visit Wichita. “We are excited to welcome the athletes, families, coaches and fans to Wichita, a city known for its central location in the Heart of the Country, its hospitality and passion for sports.
