Equity Bank Park is home to the Wichita Wind Surge, the Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Sitting along the west bank of the Arkansas River in downtown Wichita, it’s one of the best places in the city to catch a game, soak up skyline views and enjoy a fun night out.

Whether you’re planning your first visit, making your annual return, or curious about what you can do around Equity Bank Park, here's what to know.

Meet the Wichita Wind Surge

While the Wind Surge is a newer team, Wichita has a deep baseball history, including past teams like the Wichita Wranglers and the National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series, a historic summer baseball tournament.

Today, the Surge compete in the Texas League, facing regional rivals like the Tulsa Drillers, Northwest Arkansas Naturals and Springfield Cardinals, making it easy to turn a game into a weekend rivalry road trip.

Come for the baseball, stay for the food

The Wind Surge spent the offseason reimagining their ballpark menu, and 2026 brings some seriously fun (and very Midwest) additions:

  • A cinnamon roll-wrapped hot dog served on a boat of chili—yes, really
  • A brand-new Philly Cheesesteak cart, where you can customize your sandwich and watch it made fresh right in front of you
  • More creative concessions that go beyond your standard ballpark fare

And for a one-of-a-kind experience, competitive eating legend Joey Chestnut will be at the park on April 17, taking on locals in a cinnamon roll and chili eating contest.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite between innings or making a full food crawl out of it, this season’s lineup is worth showing up hungry.
