Crown Uptown Theatre

Located east of downtown, Crown Uptown is the crown jewel of the College Hill neighborhood. The iconic theater has been remodeled several times since it opened in 1928 and is now fitted with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, and seating for up to 528. Rental of Crown Uptown includes the use of the lobby, ground floor and balcony, stage and backstage areas, two dressing rooms, box office, tables and chairs, limited parking and marquee announcement. Other features include a projector and screen, theatrical lighting and sound, wireless mics, full-service host or cash bar and open catering. Adaptable seating and main floor bathrooms make this theater accessible for those with limited mobility. Stagehands and security are also available if needed.

Mosley Street Melodrama

Established in Wichita’s lively Old Town District, Mosley Street Melodrama offers a laid-back atmosphere suited for a variety of events. Up to 180 can be seated with great views of the stage for presentations or performances. The theater provides a podium, dropdown screen, mounted LCD projector, and lavalier and handheld mics. While Mosley Street Melodrama prefers to work with local barbecue restaurant Pig In! Pig Out!, open catering is possible and a full bar is available. Attendees will enjoy the easy access to the one-story venue with a ramp and stairs leading up to the entry, as well as ample parking behind the theater and in the parking garage attached to the Hotel at Old Town across the street.

Host your next meeting at Wichita’s historic Orpheum Theater and surround yourself in a space that once saw performances by legendary musical and vocal artists Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and Bing Crosby. The downtown theater, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022, has seating in the theater, lower and upper balconies that will accommodate up to 1,286 attendees. Amenities include a 40 x 28-foot stage, pair of film screens, and lectern, podiums and wireless mics for presenters. The union stagehouse offers stagehands upon request for an additional fee. Open catering options, a cash bar and movie concessions are available. The theater is also wheelchair accessible with a concession-level bathroom and companion seats.

Roxy’s Downtown

Treat your attendees to an intimate gathering at Roxy’s Downtown, a cabaret theater in the heart of Wichita. With a seating capacity of 152, Roxy’s is the perfect setting for smaller groups. The theater boasts all the audio-visual technology needed to pull off any event, complete with live streaming with its cutting-edge three-camera system, 4K projector and retractable screen, and a brand-new sound system featuring multiple lavalier and handheld microphones. On-site catering is offered to suit any group’s needs, as well as a full cocktail bar. If necessary, stagehands and technical experts are also attainable for events. Roxy’s Downtown is wheelchair accessible with an elevator connecting patrons to the upstairs theater and restroom.
